My first sci-fi painting to date. Painting machines and androids is very different from painting fairies and mermaids and other organic creatures. I began this painting in watercolors, tried to move into solid inks, but I finally realized that this painting was meant to be painted digitally. I scanned the half-completed painting and completely repainted it in Open Canvas 3 and Photoshop CS2. It will be printed on canvas and hand embellished to serve as the original painting, which will be available for sale at Dragon*Con.
